There are two different ways of sending emails from the . They can be sent at a platform level, or the learning experience level. The platform-level emails are useful for communicating to all of your learners at once, while learning experience level emails have additional features that are useful for communicating to a specific audience about a specific learning experience.
Sending emails from the platform
To send emails at a platform level, go to Admin > Settings > Emails. Here you'll find two options: Templates and Send Email. You'll need to set up a template before you can send an email.
Templates
In the templates section, you can view and edit email templates which you can then send in Send emails. To create a new template, click ADD TEMPLATE.
Here's what the resulting emails look like:
The Set Password button will only appear if you tick Send a password reset link for new users?, the learner has not previously logged in, and no password has been set for them.
Once you've created a template, it will appear in the Templates section. From here you can use the icons in the Actions column to edit or delete the template.
Send Email
In the Send Email section you simply select the email template you want to use, select who you'd like to send it to, and send it.

Sending emails from learning experiences
Emails can be sent from individual learning experiences. This is useful for communicating with specific cohorts who are undertaking specific learning experiences. It also lets you schedule some emails based on progress through the course. Click here to read more.
