Prerequisites: You need to be an org admin.
1. In the learning experience menu, go to Reports > Object progress
2. Use the checkboxes to select the learner(s) you'd like to mark as complete.
3. Use these filters to locate the object you'd like to be marked as complete. In an "undertake an online course" learning experience there will be multiple objects to choose from. You can also filter by group.
4. Once you've select the learner(s) and the object(s), click AWARD COMPLETION XP.
Note: Objects with Comment XP will still require learners to comment to obtain maximum XP for the object.
Via bulk upload
You can also add completion dates by using the CSV upload option in the learning experience enrolment menu. To do this, go to the learning experience in question and open Enrolments > Import:
Click here to read more about bulk enrolments. Add a "Completed at" column to the CSV that you upload to mark learners as complete. In the column, you need to specify the date and time that the learner completed the learning experience. Use the YYYY-MM-DD date format and a HH:MM:SS timestamp. For example:
2023-05-26 09:27:00
Once you've uploaded the CSV and it's been processed, the completed xAPI statements for the learning experience and the objects within it are sent to the LRS.
xAPI statements
The learning experience will generate a completion statement as usual, but in the extensions section there will be a record that this completion was "admin_awarded".
Note: Learning Experiences can also be marked as complete using the Completion Record Import feature or through the Admin UI. For detailed instructions, refer to our Completion Record Import Documentation for guidance on the import process and our Learning Experience Completion via Admin UI Documentation for completing records through the Admin UI.
