The question data slide presents the user with a multiple choice question and uses their answers to populate variables for branching courses or to capture demographic data. To read more about building branching courses, click here.
Adding a slide
To add a new slide, click + Add Page and select Slide.
Now select the type of slide that you'd like to add and click Add Page:

Configuring the question data slide
| Question Text | Ask for the information you want to establish e.g. "Are you a manager?". |
| Variable Name | This is the name of the variable that will be populated by the response. Give this a descriptive name so you can easily reference it elsewhere. |
| Answer |
This is an option that will be presented to the user when they're asked this question. For example, Yes and No are both answers in the screenshot below: |
| Value | This is the value that the variable will be populated with. This won't be seen by the learner and could simply be the same as the answer. Make sure you name it logically so you can refer to it later. |
| +Add Answer |
This button lets you add additional answers. The order of the answers can then be adjusted using the arrows to the right of each option: |
