Use Cases
-
Notify users of software updates.
-
Notify users of important company information.
-
Express information important to the guide if the guide was updated or more important information that the user should be aware of during playback.
-
Inform and/or Remind onboarding user of set of tasks (including guides) that they need to complete.
Creating Announcements
An Author can create announcements for their end users using a simple OnScreen Guidance Wizard. The content can include URLs, images, or even guide links to make them more effective. The announcement can be tied to a specific page or set of pages so that they appear to select users in the right context at the right time.
You can also customize the action associated with the announcement. Instead of just acknowledging the announcement, you can also choose to either launch a guide or a URL or resource for the end user to perform further actions.
