We will use the below example to demonstrate how we you can build a widget to display the percentage of users who have completed versus users who have not yet completed a Learning Experience (LX).
Example:
To add a percentage to a widget, you first need to build a formula.
To get started select your widget type, for this example we will be using the Indicator. Then select the + symbol next to Values and then the formula button shown as fx.
Next, select the Functions tab and you can either search or browser for Count.
Next select the Data Browser tab and again search or browser for Completed Enrolments.
As you build your formula you will see this grow on the text area. Next step is to divide your Total Completed Enrolments. So as shown below enter the symbol / into the editor.
Next, select the Functions tab and you can either search or browser for Count.
Next select the Data Browser tab and again search or browser for Enrolment ID.
Now you can hit the blue OK button. The system will now display your results as a number.
Now to change this to a percentage, hover over the Values field and select 123 and select Percent.
Commonly used Formulas:
As a shortcut you can use the below formulas to build your requests, just remember to update your number to a percentage if required as shown above.
Complete Enrolments - Count([Total Completed Enrolments]) / Count([Enrolment ID])
Incomplete Enrolments - Sum([Number Of Enrolments]) - sum([Number Of Completed Enrolments])
