About IQ Analytics
The IQ Analytics portal is designed to clearly highlight behavioral insights gathered from your Adaptive Content courses, so you can better inform your training program and make actionable, predictive data-backed business decisions.
To aid this goal, we have created a series of Zendesk articles. These articles will provide a comprehensive overview of how to obtain analytics reports, run reports on segmentations of your population, use the Interactive Dashboards, and fully understand your analytics options to harness the power of data to elevate business performance in order to drive behavioral change.
Terminology
Adaptive Content
Learning Pool’s truly adaptive e-learning software. This is the solution on which your course was built. For more info, check out the Adaptive Content product page.
Scenario
A scenario presents a realistic situation to help learners understand and address specific concepts, situations, or behaviors. Typically, a scenario precedes an activity, providing context and setting the stage for interactive engagement.
Category
In an Adaptive course, a category represents the highest-level grouping of content, often referred to as a 'module'. Think of categories as chapters in a book, each encompassing related topics. Every category must contain at least one topic.
Activity
Activities are the core interactive elements within Adaptive Content. These clickable interactions assess learner knowledge based on specific scenarios. By default, an activity follows a scenario and can take various gamified forms to enhance engagement.
Topic
Topics serve as the guideposts for the essential concepts your learners need to grasp. Each topic ensures that the necessary content is covered and assessed. A topic must include at least one scenario or activity, and multiple related topics can exist within a single category.
Course Materials
Course materials refer to the content presented to learners, which they are expected to understand and acknowledge. For many organizations, this includes published company policies or regulations. Some organizations may choose to label this section as 'Policy'.
The Hub
IQ Analytics utilizes the Hub as a streamlined login platform. The Hub is an application launcher shared across all Learning Pool applications, allowing customers to effortlessly access any tools included in their Learning Pool subscription (except the LMS) using a single set of login credentials.
Your Hub account will be preconfigured before onboarding, and your Hub ID and password will work seamlessly across all Learning Pool applications.
Additionally, the Hub features an app switcher, enabling users to navigate between Learning Pool applications without needing to log in multiple times.
Accessing the Dashboards
To access the IQ Analytics Interactive Dashboarding tools, please visit https://insights.learningpool.com/. Your login credentials, provided by Learning Pool, grant you access exclusively to the behavioral analytics derived from your organization's training programs.
If you've forgotten your password, select the "Forgot your password?" link on the login screen. Learning Pool will send an email with instructions to reset your password.
If you do not have your Hub ID (which is your email address), click on the "Don't have your Hub ID?" link and follow the on-screen instructions.
The Interactive Dashboards
The Dashboards are an interactive display of Adaptive Content performance data. You can use them to easily analyze the performance by a selected subset of your population, or for the entire organization.
Navigating to a Dashboard
You will see three or four dashboards, and you can choose which one to explore in detail using the dashboard picker page. If you have chosen to not avail of the new AI-generated behavioural insights feature, you will not see the ‘Behavioural Insights’ Dashboard.
This is the landing page you’ll see immediately after logging in:
Selecting a Course
After selecting your desired dashboard, you’ll need to choose a course. The dashboard will then refresh, displaying all relevant data specific to the course you’ve selected.
Exiting the Dashboard
The left-facing arrow button at the top left of all IQ Analytics pages will always navigate you back one step. Using the actual browser navigation may terminate your session.
