Prerequisites: The app is only available to Enterprise customers. If you're not sure whether you should have access or if it's not working as expected, get in contact with your account manager or our customer success team.
Summary: Download the app from the app store and login to use it.
The Learning Pool LXP mobile app is available on IOS (Apple iPhone) and Android. It gives you access to your LXP from a mobile app and can download content so that you can complete it even when you're offline.
Downloading and setting up the app
The app can be found in the IOS app store and in the Google Play Store.
Once you've downloaded the app you'll be prompted to enter the URL of your LXP. E.g. academy.thelpacademy.com
Now you can login as you would on the desktop site.
Navigating the app
Using the app is very similar to using the desktop version of the LXP but with the addition of three buttons at the bottom of the screen: Home, My Library, and Settings.
The Home button shows the familiar dashboard layout and is navigated in the same way as the desktop version of the LXP.
The My Library button shows the content that's available to download (explained further below).
The Settings button obviously contains some settings (explained further below).
Downloading learning experiences
When you click on My Library you will see all the content that is available to download.
You can filter this content by ALL, MANDATORY, and ASSIGNED by using the three tabs at the top. To download a learning experience press the Download button beneath it. Once a learning experience has been downloaded it can be accessed and completed even when you don't have an internet connection. Next time your phone connects to your internet, the app will sync with your LXP and any LXs you completed offline will register as completed on your LXP.
If you swipe left on each LX, the additional Download and Delete options will be revealed. Delete will only delete the LX from your phone, rather than from the LXP.
Configuring your app
In the Settings you can configure the app's synchronisation with your LXP. To do this, click on Download permissions.
In here you can decide when the app downloads content and sends information back to your LXP.
