Prerequisites: Entity fields are only useful if you have created a framework to use them in.
What they are
Entities are the items in frameworks. Entity fields are used to label and describe these entities.
How to configure them
1. Go to Settings > Fields > Entity fields .
2. Click ADD NEW FIELD SET.
3. Fill in the relevant fields and click ADD. We've called this example "Company Sports Day Team" because we're going to use it to label the entities in our "position" framework, so it's clear who will be in which team on sports day.
4. Click YES to start adding fields.
5. Select the field type you'd like to use. In our example we're going to use Selections so the team can be selected from a prepopulated list.
6. Fill in the relevant fields and click ADD.
Continue adding more fields if you'd like, but there's no requirement to add more than one to a field set.
How to use them
1. Entity fields need to be added to an entity to be used. To do this, go to Settings > Frameworks .
2. Click the alongside any entity and select edit.
3. Select the entity field set you want to.
4. Your fields will appear and you can make the relevant selections.
Once you've assigned entity fields to all the entities that you would like to, you'll see that entity fields are now available as a criteria in dynamic rules.
