Prerequisites: To view the resource library you need to be an org admin or a resource admin.
Resources are pieces of content: SCORM packages, videos, links, events, xAPI packages, etc. They're added to and stored in the Resource Library and can be used in multiple learning experiences. When you update a resource in the resource library, that update is reflected in every learning experience it’s used in.
Using the resources library
From the admin area, click Resources to open the library.
Here you will see a list of the uploaded resources. They can be filtered by author and type by using the options in the sidebar.
|
All: Displays every resource in your learning platform. Mine: Displays every resource you've uploaded. If someone else has uploaded a resource and you have edited it, it will still be credited to them and won't appear when you select "mine". UGC: Displays resources added to user contribution objects. |
|
| Tick the checkboxes next to the resource types that you want to display and click APPLY FILTERS. |
Click on a resource to reveal additional details and options:
| Clicking the eye icon previews the resource in a new window. This is purely for checking the content of a resource, do not send a link to the resource to your learners as their progress and completion will not be tracked. | |
| Clicking the pencil opens the edit window where the name, description, and other resource settings can be adjusted. For more info, click here to see the resources type guide. | |
| The bin icon will delete the resource. This cannot be done while the resource is still being used in a learning experience. | |
| Courses | The courses section below the icons indicates which learning experiences the resource is currently being used in. If the learning experience has been deleted, there will be a line through its name. |
Using resources
Resources can only be used within learning experiences. To use a resource, click here to read the guide to creating learning experiences.
