Prerequisites: To use this workflow item, you need Automation to be integrated with your LXP.
The update user workflow item adjusts various LXP profile fields for the specified user.
| Field | Description |
| Username | Setting a username in this field will update it on the account within the Learning Platform. |
| First Name | To update the first name on the account, add the new value here. |
| Last Name | To update the last name on the account, add the new value here. |
| To update the email address on the account, add the new value here. | |
| User ID | This is used to identify which user account gets updated. In the vast majority of circumstances, you'll want this to be the user who's triggered the workflow. To do this, use the global variable {LearnerUserId}. Click here to read our full guide on using variables in workflows. If the User ID is unknown, the Username field can also be used as an identifier instead. |
