Analytics
Learning Pool Analytics brings together data from learning platforms, content, and other parts of the ecosystem and surfaces this in easy to use dashboards that comprise visualizations, tables, and graphical reports.
Powered by the industry-leading Sisense BI tool, Analytics is designed for use by administrators and includes several standard dashboards that we’ve built following years of research to understand the most used and most useful data. ‘Designer’ users can create their own Template Dashboards, using existing widgets, or by creating their own, which can then be shared with other users in their business to drill down into the data they need.
Standard Shared Dashboards
Every instance of Analytics provides users with 8 standard dashboards which are visible to all users on that instance. Each shared dashboard offers a unique view of the Learning Experience data for a user to drill down into and is available to view for anyone who has an Analytics account.
Dashboard Filtering
Dashboards contain widgets that display learner's information as graphs, charts, or basic total count of information. At the top of the dashboards are filter options such as Learning Experience which if selected will filter all the widgets based on the selection.
AI Data Analysis
Forecasting
Analytics enables users to forecast future values based on historical data. The flexible forecast settings allow the user to change a parameter and see how it affects future values. This provides a simple and intuitive way for the user to understand which scenarios will help meet targets and make the right decisions.
Explanations
Automatically identifies the most probable key drivers for a given change in the data. Explanations cover hundreds of possible contributing factors and present the top ten fields (or combinations of fields) that contributed most significantly to the change in behavior between the selected point and a previous point. These fields can be explored to see what effect they had on the data.
Trend
Enables the addition of trend lines on all Column, Line, Area, and Bar charts and apply advanced analytic models over a widget to highlight tendencies in the data and get insights quickly.
Exploration Paths
Exploration Paths automatically generates visualizations and insights that anticipate Viewers' questions without requiring a Dashboard Designer to create more widgets. Exploration widgets offer a great way to answer ad-hoc questions that naturally arise when analyzing a KPI. They enable drill down into widgets in cases when it is challenging to set up drill hierarchies to answer all the potential business questions. The suggestions are taken from across all dashboards based on the data model that the dashboard is connected to. To provide Viewers with the right context throughout the exploration, the exploration widgets inherit the dashboard and widget filters, and go through the same security rules as any other widget in the dashboard.
Account Types
Each client who purchases Analytics as part of a package or as an add-on receives 10 viewer and 2 designer Licenses. Shared Dashboards can be further shared with members of staff who do not have an account via links.
The Analytics Designer license allows the Designer to create new dashboards. Creating a custom dashboard allows the Designer to pick specific widgets that will provide the graphs, stats, and visualizations they wish to present. This does require the Analytics Designer to have previous data analysis experience.
Once created a dashboard can be shared with other users.

Dashboard Widgets
A wizard automatically guides Designers through the simple process of creating a widget, while offering the best recommendations for displaying the data selected.
More control over the widget's appearance and behavior to access a rich variety of additional design options,
Drilldown
Data in widgets can be drilled down via configured drill hierarchies. For example, a chart of gender breakdown could allow for drill down into age demographics.
