Below outlines each section of the Details tab within the Certification and what it means:

| Setting | Description | Notes |
| Category | Allows selection as to which category the certification should sit under. | There is no impact on which courses can be added to the certification if it sits within a different category from the courses. |
| Full Name | Name of the certification. | This will be displayed on reporting & learner dashboards. |
| Short Name | Can be an abbreviation of the full name. | Limited view of the short name across the LMS. Only really shown on reports (if the column is added). |
| ID | ID number to identify the certification (optional). | Can be used to identify the certification on external systems. |
| Available From | Date in which the certification will become available to learners (optional). | Users already assigned will not be affected. |
| Available Until | Date in which the certification will become unavailable to learners (optional). | Will not be accessible to learners but will continue to archive completions (if a user reaches recertification). |
| Summary | Description text that is displayed certification details page to learners (optional). | This text can also be used visible within the course catalogue. |
| Summary files | Displayed in the list of certifications (optional). | Summary files might include certification descriptors or relevant image files relating to the certification. |
| Endnote | Displays when the learner has completed the certification. (optional) | - |
| Audience-Based visibility | ||
| Visibility |
No user - Not visible to any users except Site Managers (and those with appropriate permissions). Enrolled users only - Only those enrolled can see the certification. Enrolled users and members of the selected audiences - Same as above or an audience which has been chosen but not enrolled. All users - All users can view the certification. |
Take note of the of the visibility, if it is set to No Users, no emails will be sent. |

| Current Icon | Certification icon from the available list. Icons can be displayed within certification lists, catalogue and users records (optional). | Custom icons can be upload. If you do not have this option currently, get in touch with the Support Team. |
| Image | Image to associate with the certification (optional). | The image chosen here also will appear on the One Click Compliance block (if added). |

| Allow extension requests |
When enabled, users can request extensions for this certification, which their manager can approve or deny. If a user has multiple job assignments with different managers, the extension request notification is sent to all of the user’s managers, and any of them can approve or deny the request (optional). |
This feature needs to be enabled, contact Support if required. |
