What it does:
Within the adapt builder you will have the ability as to archive theming for a course. This will allow you to quickly apply saved themes to your courses. This will provide the ability to set your organisations branding across all your content very quickly without the need to manually set update each course manually.
Archived theme be created for both the theming section and the menus within the adapt builder.
How to Archive a Theme:
The process for creating an archive theme for either the theming section or menu section is the same and is outlined below:
- Access a course within your account
- Hover your mouse over Theme/Menu
- Click on "Edit"
- Click on "Archive"
- Provide the archived theme a name
- Optional Step - if you wish to share the theme with everyone within your organisation ensure you tick the check box.
- Click on "Save"
As shown above, if you click within the checkbox when saving your archived theme this will allow all users within your organisation to have access to the archived theme you have created. This ensures that the theme does not recreated under everyone's own account and can be created for the entire organisation from a single account.
How to Apply a Theme to a course:
Once you have a saved theme this can be applied to any of the courses within your account quickly and easily by following the steps outlined below:
Applying a full archived theme:
- Access a course within your account
- Hover your mouse over Theme/Menu
- Click on "Edit"
- Click on "Load Archive"
- Select the saved theme you wish to apply from the dropdown.
- Select the elements of the theme you wish to be applied(check select all to apply the entire theme)
- Click on "Apply"
Applying partial archived theme:
The above demonstrates applying an entire archived themes to both the theme and the menu sections within the course. However within the theme section there is a number options that can be selected when applying the archived theme, which will provide greater control over how you wish to apply an archived theme to your courses.
