Prerequisites: If you want to upload a custom font you need to have it in a .WOFF format. There are converters available online if you already have the font in a different format.
Summary: Go into the theme and upload fonts or use Google fonts to change the way your course looks.
Introduction
There are a couple of different ways to use fonts that aren't included as standard in Authoring - Library Content: using Google fonts and uploading custom font files. To use either of these, you first need to enable custom fonts:
1. Go to Theme > Edit
2. Scroll down to Fonts
3. Enable Use Custom Fonts
Using a Google font
Under Google Font - Header and/or Google Font - Body type the name of the Google font that you'd like to use. A list can be found at www.google.com/fonts
Be aware: Your custom fonts won't appear when you use Preview. They will only appear when you load your course onto your LMS or LXP.
Uploading a custom font
Under Uploaded .WOFF Header Font and/or Uploaded .WOFF Body Font click Select an asset to upload a custom font. The font must be in a .WOFF format rather than .TFF or .OTF. There are online converters that can change .TFF and .OTF to .WOFF if needs be.
Be aware: Your custom fonts won't appear when you use Preview. They will only appear when you load your course onto your LMS or LXP.
