The review tool creates and sends out a review copy of your module to anyone with an email address, regardless of whether they have access to Authoring - Library Content.
When a user has been added as a reviewer they will receive an email notification providing them with a unique URL so they can add comments to the review. Reviewers can target specific areas of content and add a message stating what they would like to be updated.
The review interface also includes various device options so recipients can easily switch between desktop, tablet and mobile views, ensuring that all possible device views have been reviewed.
Creating a review
Once you have built your module, click Review on the sidebar.
Click Create new review.
Add a title, set the close date, and use the User Search section to add the email addresses of the people you would like to review the module. They don’t need an Authoring - Library Content account to access the review, they will be automatically added as a guest if they don’t have one.
A silhouette will appear by the names of users who have accounts and an outline will appear next to those that don’t.
When you’re happy, click Save. Any email addresses you have added to the review will be sent an email. The individuals can then access the review by clicking on the View button in the email.
