Client - A client is the point at which data arrives in Learning Record Store. It provides authentication details to connect learning platforms to Learning Record Store and they dictate which store the data will go in.
Data series - A data series is a selection of data from a certain place or about a certain group. In Learning Record Store, data series is used to describe the different selections of data plotted on the same graph.
Dashboard - A dashboard is a customisable workspace where you can present various visualisations alongside each other.
Personas -A persona is a way of grouping together data about an individual in one place. It allows learners to be identified individually despite potentially having the same name as another learner.
Query - A request to the database for some information. For example, the total number of completions or activity over the last seven days.

Stores - Containers in which data is stored, as dictated by clients.
Visualisations - Visualisations is the collective name for the various different graphs and charts that Learning Record Store uses to visually present data. Click here to read more.
Widget - Widget is the name for the adjustable box that contains a visualisation when it's added to a dashboard.
xAPI statements - The information sent to Learning Record Store by learning platforms like s and LXPs. These statements document the various learning activities that learners undertake.
