The Development Plan page helps users to align their development goals with achievable steps within a chosen timeframe.
Learners can indicate their strengths and areas for improvement within the text areas for ‘My Strengths’ and ‘My Development Focus’.
Learners create their Development Plan by adding ‘Development Measures’ to the timeline. Development measures are the achievable steps/milestones they will take to achieve their development goals.
Development measures include undertaking a course, initiating a knowledge exchange with a colleague etc. The user creates the measure and specifies the skills they will potentially improve on while completing the measure. They add a start date and the measure appears in the timeline in chronological order.
A comprehensive overview of the learners Development Plan, including Strengths and development focus, all development measures and skill related data, is available to mangers within the ‘Profile Overview’ section of the ‘Employees’ page. (click here to read more.)

Development timeline
All Completed, started and planned development measures are represented as tiles in the Development timeline. Development measures appear in the timeline in chronological order.
The tiles show basic information including title, type, status, start date and completion date.
Clicking directly on the tile shows all additional details associated with that development measure including skills to acquire, links and notes. To edit or delete a measure, click the ellipses.
When a measures status is updated to ‘Completed’, the skills from that completed Development Measures will appear in the Validate Skills area under the ‘Developed skills’ heading, reminding the user to assess whether they have developed those skill, and if so add to their profile or adjust the proficiency level to reflect their development.
The timeline can be filtered based by date range and measure type.
An overview at the top of the timeline shows how many of the measures have been completed, started and planned, as well as which skills are currently being developed or have been developed through those development measures.
