This course format allows you to group content together through sections and subsections. This will make your course pages intuitive and easy for learners to use and navigate.
How it works
Firstly, you will need to contact our Support team to have the new format enabled. After this is done, you can use it against any new or existing course on the LMS.

Navigate to a course

Course Administration → Edit Settings → Course Format → Flexible Sections format

Note, there are no configuration options available for this format. It is a “plug and play” format.

Once selected, save the changes and turn editing on for the course page

Add in a section and take note that the ‘subsection’ option now becomes available

Add in any subsections you’d like, and you’ll notice that it follows a parent child type structure

When you’re finished, turn editing off to have a look at the overall course page
