This dashboard gives a high-level view of the population’s overall performance (first statistic), performance by category (vertical bar chart), average time spent in the course (statistic further down the page), and total time saved by using Adaptive Content course (statistic further down the page). At the top of the dashboard, it shows as below, for example:
Some of these widgets can be exported as images.
Each of the widgets provides an explanation as to what each of them are showing.
Widget Title | Image | What is it showing |
|---|---|---|
Overall Performance | This widget shows how each of the user got on during the course. It would take into account the average score of each question asked to pull together an overall percentage. | |
Total Users | This widget shows the overall amount of users that have taken the course. | |
Time Spent | This widget shows the average amount of time users are taking to complete the course. | |
Time Saved | This widget shows the total amount of time saved by taking this course rather than a traditional course.

Time Saved
The next widget on the dashboard contains interactive widgets. It allows the person viewing the dashboard to put information into 2 boxes:
Average Salary
Average Course Time
By populating these two boxes, there are 3 widgets that will automatically update to show the following information based on the course taken:
Time Saved (hours)
Efficiency Advantage
Dollars saved ($)
The number(s) are calculated, eliminating those outliers that took longer than 75 minutes.
The above collection of widgets can be downloaded as either an image or xlsx file.
Time to complete the course by percentage of users
The final widget on this dashboard displays the time to complete the course, giving those viewing an indication of how long their users are taking to take to complete the course.
It includes the “Time to complete the course by percentage of users” chart, which shows the distribution of users’ course completion time in five-minute bands (by percentage).
Hover over any data point on the line charts to see more detail.
Performance by Category
Hover over any of the categories on the bar chart to view the data for that specific Category.
You can also filter the rest of the dashboard by category. For example, if you select one of the bars on the category bar chart, all results below on the scenario questions will only show scenarios for the selected category. To deselect the category, just click on the bar again.
The “Scenario performance” section displays the details for each scenario including category name, the number and percentage of unique users who attempted each question, overall percentage of activity performance, as well as the percentage breakdown of each answer choice.
Compare Mode
Compare mode allows you to compare the performance of one filter against another or against the performance of All Users.
To activate compare mode, click the compare mode icon. Once enabled, the border of the selected filter will turn orange, while the border of the comparison filter will appear blue. All data on the dashboard will also be color-coded in orange and blue for clarity.
You can hover over any data point to see which value corresponds to each filter.
Drill Downs
This feature allows you to look further into the scenario performance and time distribution ranges at the learner level, as a downloadable .XLSX file which shows all learners from the selected group.
Scenario Drill Downs
Overall Scenario Performance can be drilled down to a list of learner groups who got the scenario question right and those who got it wrong.
The Answer Option Performance Drill Down lists the learner population who chose the selected answer option at least once, the number of times they chose said answer, and the total attempts they made on that specific scenario/activity.
Scenario Performance (top right), and Answer Option Performance (bottom right)
Each Drill Down report will download onto your computer as a .XLSX file, and will look similar to the examples below:

Downloading Data from a Tile
Any Dashboard tile with a photo icon in the top right corner can be saved as an image. Use this feature to quickly capture any data display you see in IQ Analytics for use in presentations or for reference.
When clicked, the image will automatically be saved on your computer (in the Downloads folder, or per your browser’s download settings).
