What It Does:
The flip card component allows for a image to be presented to learner which would display information on the back of the image when the learner interacts(clicks) on the image.
Basic Configuration:
Component Fields:
Title - Sets the title for the component.
Display Title - Sets the title of the component that is displayed to learners within the course. The display title can be set to be linked to the component title or independent of the component title.
- Using the link icon allows for the display title to be linked/unlinked with the component title.
- The "x" icon will clear the display title and unlink the display title from the component title.
Body - Allows a text blurb to be added for the component to display to learners.
Instruction - Displays instructions on interacting with the component items(Flip card) to learners.
Set flip type: Allows to set the flip method used within the flip card component.
- allFlip - Allows for all the items to be flipped to display the back of the items(Flip cards).
- singleFlip - Only one item can be flipped to show the back of the item(Flip card) at a time.
Flip animation time - The length of time it takes for the animation of the flip item(Flip card) to complete.
Items - Allows for items(flip cards) to be added to the component.
Adding a flip card item:
- Edit the component
- Scroll down to item section
- Click "Add"
- Fill in the options for the item and click save
Set flip direction:
The flip direction allows the flip card to be flipped either in a horizontal or vertical motion:

Alt text allows for a description of the image that has been added for use with screen readers for learners who may have visual impairments.
Src:
This option is used to add an image that will appear on the front of the flip card. An image can be upload directly to the item or an image that has been uploaded to the asset manager can be selected.
Item Title:
The item title is the title that is display on the back of the flip card when the learner has interacted(clicked) on the flip card item.
Item Body:
The item body allows the addition of text that is to be present to the learner on the back of the flip card.
