Prerequisites: This block may need to be enabled on your site. If it is not visible in the Add a Block list simply contact the Support Team and ask for it to be enabled.
This block displays an interactive and responsive list of programs/certificates in a horizontal scrolling row on a dashboard. The block UI supports navigation through the row with arrow buttons, mouse interactions and touch support.
Adding custom fields
First you need to create some custom fields which will be used to display information on your program list. This will populate the "Eyebrow" text on the tiles:
More information on creating Course & Program custom fields can be found here.
Alert: The following settings may not be available to you. If they are not, contact support@learningpool.com and ask them to do the following configuration for you.
From here, use the drop down menus to select the following:
Block configuration
Once you've added the block to a dashboard, you can configure it by selecting Configure Programs list block:
Scroll down to Block settings and expand it:
| Display Block description | If this is set to yes, then the description entered in the description is displayed in the block. |
| Block Description | Allows for a description of what the block is showing to be added. |
Specifying which programs appear in the block
Scroll down to the Programs filter section and expand it:
The criteria here is all additive. We start out displaying all programs, then the list of programs get filtered down based on each value selected.
| Display all programs |
If this is set to yes, then all programs are selected, otherwise only those selected in the drop down list are selected. |
| Use Assigned Status as a filter |
(Ignored will be used if the user is not logged in) |
| Use Completion Status as a filter |
(Ignored will be used if the user is not logged in) |
| Custom Fields |
If custom text fields are configured in the program, then they will be listed here. If there is a value entered in any field, then the program's custom field must match the text value entered. |
