CPD can be enabled to display on certificates which are awarded to learners upon completion. To do this, navigate to an existing Learning Experience with CPD set-up, or create a new one and click on Settings.
Expand Certificate, which is located on the right side of the page. A new heading will display labelled CPD.
Note: A language string has been included for the CPD label so a custom translation can be added via the ‘Translations’ service.
Tick the Display checkbox to enable CPD on the certificate. There are default values which are listed below but all can be adjusted as required.
- The default font size is 14, this can be amended to suit the certificate template.
- The ‘Top’ position of the CPD value is 140, which is the distance from the top of the page in mm, this can be amended to suit the certificate template.
- The checkbox for ‘Centred’ is enabled which centres the CPD value. This can be unticked which switches the default position to the left side of the page.
- If ‘Centred’ has been unticked, a setting for ‘Left’ will display, which is the distance from the left side of the page in mm. By default, this is '0' but can be changed to the position required.
When learners complete the Learning Experience and view their certificate, they can see the awarded CPD value.
Note: If your language is set to British / UK English, this feature will display as "CPD" (continuing professional development). If you're using American / US English, this feature will display as "CPE" (continuing professional education).
