This page configures the high level settings for your organisation. Settings only apply to this organisation and do not affect Parent/Child organisations.
Settings
Name: Displayed on emails.
Language: The default language for the platform. Overriden by the user's profile language setting.
Welcome Message: Text that will be shown below the banner image on the dashboard.
Allow Public Registrations: Controls if visitors can create accounts using a public registration form. Click here for further details on public registration.
- Note - Please be aware accounts do not require activation or further verification. If public registration is enabled any site visitor can create an account and have access to any public visibility content or more depending upon group rules. This can be avoided by the use of the following setting.
Allowed Domains: When Allow Public Registrations is enabled this setting prevents public registration from any email domain except the listed domains. This ensures you do not receive unwanted or spam registrations while using public registration.
Public Registration Message: This is shown to visitors accessing the public registration form and can be used to give instructions and links to visitors.
Default Game Settings
The settings defined here will be used as the default for all Learning Experiences. These can overridden on each LX by the Course Creator.
View XP: The amount of Experience Points awarded to a learner opening the object for the required view time.
Allow Comments: If comments on objects should default to on or off.
Inherit resource completion: With this feature enabled at org and object level, completing a resource within an object will mark the same resource as complete if it is shared among any other objects/learning experiences that also have this new setting enabled.
Essentially this allows for a learner to not have to complete the same pieces of learning multiple times if is used on multiple Learning Experiences.
Comment XP: The amount of Experience Points awarded to a learner for commenting on an object.
Points for Contributions: The amount of Experience Points awarded to a learner for making a User Generated Content contribution.
View Time: The minimum time required for an object to be open to count as complete. Note that long view time requirements can confuse learners.
Leaderboard Opt Out: If ticked new users will be excluded from all leaderboards by default. They can change this by editing their profile and unticking the box.
Leaderboard Opt Out type: If set to Hidden learners simply won't appear in the leaderboards, if set to Anonymous they will appear without a name.
Image Settings
Allows you to set the default imagery used across the platform. Please refer to our Image Guide for details of each image.
Badges
Award Issuer URL should be set to your company homepage or social media profile.

Terms & Conditions
If you enable terms & conditions, learners will be prompted to accept your terms and conditions when they first log into the LXP.
