Program content can consist of any set of courses. In the Content tab of a program, the courses learners must complete can be specified to achieve and maintain the program.
To add content to the program, start with the first-course set. Clicking add will bring up the Courses & Categories on the LMS to allow for selection of courses. Multiple can be selected and if unsure which category the course sits within, use the search option.
On the next screen, choose the course/s that need to be within the program.
Once the course/s has been selected, click ok and this will populate the first course set.

If Some courses is selected, additional fields to set the completion criteria will become editable. These fields are the Minimum courses completed, Course score field and the Minimum score. These fields are all locked when selecting All courses or One course as the completion of the selected courses will be the completion criteria. |

| Course Score Field | Specify a course custom field which is used to allocate a score to each course in the set. This is used in conjunction with Minimum score to determine the course set's completion criteria. The value within the Course score field must be a whole number (e.g. 1 , 10, 15, etc). For example, a 'Credits' custom field could be added to all courses so that a course set will be marked as complete once a certain number of credits have been achieved. |
| Minimum time required | This value indicates a minimum amount of time that a user might realistically need to be able to complete the course set. It is used to determine if the completion period set on the assignments tab is realistic for a particular group of users. If the assignment is not realistic, a time allowance exception will be generated and the user will not be assigned to the program until the exception has been resolved. |
Setting this does not mean the user only has a certain amount of time to complete a course set, nor does it set or affect the program due date. This does not determine the maximum time allowed to complete the course set and setting this does not set a due date. |
It is recommended to use the Minimum time required with caution and ensure that it does as what would be expected. It is not to be confused with the Assignment due date (talked about later) which is how much time the user if given overall to complete the courses in order to certify.
We typically recommend setting this to 'No minimum time required'. If a due date is required, this can be handled better in the assignments tab.
Course Sets:
If choosing to include multiple course sets, dividers can be used to establish sequences or dependencies between the sets.
Further course sets can be added by clicking the add button at the bottom of the last course set:

There are 3 dividers that can be used when creating a program path and using multiple course sets:
- Or: Learners can either complete the learning in the first or the second course set, both sets are available at the same time. For example, if there were to be 2 course sets within the program that hosts 3 courses each a user enrolled could take either course sets before completion.
- Then: Learners must complete the first course set before being given access to the second course set. For example, if there were to be 2 course sets within the program that hosts 3 courses each, a user enrolled would need to complete the first set of courses before moving onto the second set before completion.
- And: If both course sets need to be completed. For example, if there were to be 2 course sets within the program that hosts 3 courses each, a user enrolled would need to complete both course sets in any order before before completion.
Once the content is in place, at the bottom of the screen there will a 'save changes' button. If happy with the content selected, this button can be clicked.
A prompt message will appear and because the program is not live yet, no users will be affected therefore 'save all changes' can be clicked if the current set up is satisfactory.
