Capabilities are sets of skills. A capability could be created to represent a job role, a project, or a vacancy.
How are capabilities used?
Capabilities are used throughout the skills builder. Here are some of the places that they appear:
- They can be used to perform a team readiness check on the team readiness page. Click here to read more.
- Learners can use the opportunities page to see how their skills match up to capabilities when applying for a job or project. Click here to read more.
- Learners can view the skills required for certain projects on the recommendations page. Click here to read more.
- Managers, recruiters, and HR can use capabilities to search for employees who best match job specifications. Click here to read more about the best-matching employees toggle.
How are capabilities created?
Capabilities can be created on the capabilities page (click here to read more) or can be ingested from a file (please talk to your Learning Pool contact about this).
