What it does:
The dyslexia help allows for a colour palette to be applied to the course through a number of predefined colours schemes as to assist in improving readability of the content within the course for dyslexic users.
How to enable it:
- Go to extensions
- Search for - Dyslexia Helper
- Click the Add button
Configuring the Dyslexia Helper extension:
As noted above there is very little in terms of the options that can be configured within the Dyslexia Helper extension, however you can adjust the following settings within the extension itself:
- Title - The text that will be displayed as the title within the drawer for the Dyslexia Helper.
- Description - The Text that is displayed to help the user on how to use the extension within the course, this text is displayed within the drawer within the course.
How to access the Dyslexia Helper extension within the content:
The Dyslexia Helper extension within the content/course can be access through the icon within the navigation bar within the course:
Once the eye icon is selected a draw will appear from the right of the course which will provide access to the colour palette section, which will then allow a selection to be made as to apply the colour palette to the content within the course.
